Additionally .300 BLK set out to utilize as many M4/AR15 parts and ammo components as possible. Although great for home defense and suppressed use in subsonic loadings .300 BLK has evolved into a serious challenger to other intermediate cartridges like 7.62x39mm in supersonic form.
