CZ 455

CZ is one of the oldest arms manufacturers in Europe, and their firearms have earned reputation for extreme accuracy. It's CZ 452 line was known as Czech Anschutz because of it. These rifles were my favorite, because they presented a fantastic trade-off between accuracy (really, as good as any under $1000 Anschutz) and price (they sold for under $400).

Since CZ has discontinued CZ-452s (though we still have a few in stock), I would like to introduce the replacement: CZ 455s.

CZ 455's claim to fame (and most likely, raison d'etre) is allowing to switch easily between 22LR, 22WMR, and 17HMR calibers (purchase of the new barrel kit is required).

CZ 455 Trainers are FINALLY here!

CZ's incredibly popular Training Rifle has finally made it to the 455 platform. Chambered in .22 LR, the 455 Training Rifle shares the same popular features of its predecessor – it has the same 24.8” barrel, tangent rear sight (adjustable for distance) and beechwood stock with Schnabel forend.

The biggest difference is the ability to swap the barrel and/or stock, traits that all our 455s possess. An ideal rifle for introducing youth to the shooting sports, the Training Rifle is shipped with a 5-round magazine, but a single-shot adapter and 10-round magazine are available.

We bought the whole shipment so for he foreseeable future we are probably going to be the only source of these in the country!

CZ 455 UltraMatch

UltraMatch rifles are almost the same as the trainers, except they sport more accurate 12-grove barrel, and comes with a 10rd Magazine. This is a very new rifle, it does not yet appear in CZ catalog. But we have it!

The key feature of CZ 455 is its ability to switch barrels for easy caliber conversion.

These rifles, though long announced, have just started hitting the shelves - and of course we have one!

CZ 455 Varmint, 22LR

In addition to the advantages gained by the interchangeable barrel system of the 455 platform, the 455 Varmint features a heavier, stiffer barrel than its predecessors in the 452 and 453 lines. The 20.5” long, .866” diameter cylindrical barrel gives the 455 varmint an accuracy advantage across the wide variety of rimfire loads available today.

Any of the accessory barrels available for the 455 platform, including the American and Lux (open sights), as well as other varmint-weight barrels in .22 LR, .22 WMR or .17 HMR can be easily swapped out due to the larger universal barrel channel of the Varmint model. A 5 round magazine is included.
